A packaging jar mockup, made for presenting a cosmetic jar lid. Drop in your artwork and the lighting and shadows stay as they are.
Food producers and Etsy makers tend to get the most out of files like this. A small tip: metallic and glossy finishes look best with a little contrast in the label; very flat pastel labels can look printed on paper.
Labels behave differently once they wrap around a shape, and this is where you find out if yours still reads. A shelf of two or three variants in different colours makes a strong hero image.
Use it for
- A cosmetic jar lid
- A candle jar label
- A honey or jam label

Packaging Jar Mockup: editable parts
The PSD is layered, so you can change:
- Label artwork, placed through the smart object
- Background colour
- Highlights and reflections
Add your design to the Packaging Jar Mockup
- Design the label flat and keep the logo in the middle third, where the curve bends it least.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
- Save a JPG for clients and social media, and keep the PSD for later changes.
Another tip: transparent or glass items show the background through. Test your label on the actual background colour you’ll use.

Questions about this mockup
What licence does it come with?
That depends on the author's terms. The download page lists what is allowed; when in doubt, ask the author directly.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Will the label bend with the shape?
Good curved-product mockups use a warp so the label wraps around. The preview shows it: if the edges of the label curve away, it does.
