Need to show a product label to a client? This cloth hanging tag mockup does the job in a few minutes.
It’s a handy file for craft sellers and packaging designers. Keep text at least a few millimetres from the edge. The mockup shows the trim, and cramped margins read as a mistake.

How to edit this Cloth Hanging Tag Mockup in Photoshop
- Get your artwork ready at print size, with 3 mm of bleed if it runs to the edge.
- Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
- Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
- Turn the texture layer up or down to match the paper you’ll print on.
- Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.
Another tip: if the paper has texture, drop the opacity of your art by a few percent so the grain shows through.

How do I put my artwork on the label or tag?
Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.
Do I need Photoshop?
Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.
Will my artwork look printed or pasted on?
Most print mockups keep the paper texture and lighting on separate layers above your design, so it takes on the grain and shadows. If it still looks too clean, lower the opacity of your artwork a little.
