A hotel “do not disturb” sign looks better on a door hanger mockup than on a white artboard, and this mockup is set up for exactly that.
Useful for hotels as much as for local businesses. A small tip: if the paper has texture, drop the opacity of your art by a few percent so the grain shows through.
Print jobs are expensive to redo, so a realistic preview before the order goes out is cheap insurance.

Add your design to the Door Hanger Mock-up
- Set up the design flat at the real print size and keep text inside a safe margin.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
- Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.
One more thing: keep text at least a few millimetres from the edge. The mockup shows the trim, and cramped margins read as a mistake.

Can I show both sides?
It depends on the file. Many print mockups include a front and a back smart object; the preview usually shows whether both sides are visible.
