Folded Flyer Mockup

This folded flyer mockup is one of the simpler ways to present an event flyer or a promo leaflet convincingly.
Good pick for small businesses, event promoters or anyone putting together a portfolio. Quick tip: dark designs often look flat on paper mockups. Turning the highlight layer up slightly brings back the sheen.
Clients sign off faster when they can picture the finished piece, and a flat PDF rarely does that as well as a photo of the flyer. For a complete brand board, show it next to a business card and a notebook.
Use it for
- An event flyer
- A promo leaflet
- A restaurant offer
This is a free file from Mockups Design. When you click download you’ll land on their page to grab it.
What’s inside the Folded Flyer Mockup PSD
Open it in Photoshop and you can change:
- Your design, placed through the smart object
- Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown
- Paper or background colour
- Paper texture you can turn up or down
How to use the Folded Flyer Mockup
- Get your artwork ready at print size, with 1/8 inch of bleed if it runs to the edge.
- Open the file in Photoshop and double-click the smart object thumbnail in the Layers panel.
- Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
- Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.
One more thing: export your artwork at the size the smart object asks for; scaling a small file up is the usual reason print mockups look soft.

Questions about this mockup
What licence does it come with?
It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Mockups Design. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Can I show both sides?
It depends on the file. Many print mockups include a front and a back smart object; the preview usually shows whether both sides are visible.
