Pen Mockup in PSD

Presenting a hotel pen? Put it on this pen in mockup and the client sees the real thing, not a flat file.
Useful for branding studios as much as for corporate merch teams. Quick tip: keep your artwork simple. Small objects shrink details quickly, so a bold mark reads better than fine lines.
It’s a nice extra slide in a branding presentation, after the logo and the main applications. Group it with other merch mockups for a branded items slide.
Free PSD Templates created this one and hosts the download on their own site, so you always get the latest version straight from the source.
What’s inside the Pen Mockup in PSD
The PSD is layered, so you can change:
- Logo or artwork, placed through the smart object
- Object colour, where included

- Shadows
How to edit this Pen Mockup in in Photoshop
- Export your logo or artwork as a PNG with transparency.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Paste your design, resize it to fill the area, then save (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close that tab.
- Adjust the shadow so the object sits on the surface.
- Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.

Questions about this mockup
Is it free for commercial use?
It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Free PSD Templates. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
