Sacking Logo Mockup

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author Graphics Egg

A sacking logo mockup, made for presenting a signage concept. Drop in your artwork and the lighting and shadows stay as they are.

It’s a handy file for branding studios and logo designers. A small tip: single-colour versions of a logo usually look better in embossed or foil effects than full-colour ones.

It helps you test the mark at small sizes and in one colour, which is where weak logos fall apart.

Good for

  • A signage concept
  • A new logo
  • A brand mark reveal

This is a free file from Graphics Egg. When you click download you’ll land on their page to grab it.

Editable options in the Sacking Logo Mockup PSD

Everything below is on its own layer:

  • Your design, placed through the smart object
  • Paper or background colour
  • Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown

How to use the Sacking Logo Mockup

  1. Get your artwork ready at print size, with 3 mm of bleed if it runs to the edge.
  2. In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
  3. Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
  4. Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.

Another tip: export your artwork at the size the smart object asks for; scaling a small file up is the usual reason print mockups look soft.

Questions about this mockup

Can I use this logo mockup for client work?

It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Graphics Egg. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.

How do I add my design?

Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.

Do I need Photoshop?

Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.

Will my artwork look printed or pasted on?

Most print mockups keep the paper texture and lighting on separate layers above your design, so it takes on the grain and shadows. If it still looks too clean, lower the opacity of your artwork a little.

Why does the download open another website?

We list free files from designers around the web and link to the original page, so Graphics Egg gets the visit and you get the file exactly as they published it.
