Curve text into an arc, a smile or a wave

Curved lettering is the base of most badges, stamps, logos and sticker designs. Choose a shape under “Font & shape”:

  • Arc with a positive bend curves the text up like a rainbow, for the top of a round badge.
  • Arc with a negative bend curves it down like a smile, for the bottom of a badge.
  • Wave makes the letters bounce, which suits kids’ brands, food and summer designs.

Making a round badge

  1. Type your brand name, set Arc with a bend of about 45 and export a transparent PNG.
  2. Type a second line (a year or “EST. 2026”), set the bend to about −45 and export again.
  3. Stack both PNGs in your editor around a central icon or a third, straight line of text.

Tips

Add a little letter spacing on strong curves so letters do not crowd at the top. Script fonts curve well on gentle bends. Heavy slab fonts such as Alfa Slab One look right on badges and vintage labels. Test the result on a free logo or packaging mockup.
