This marble business card mockup is a quick way to show a front and back card design without a photo shoot.

Good pick for small businesses, freelance designers or anyone putting together a portfolio. Keep text at least a few millimetres from the edge. The mockup shows the trim, and cramped margins read as a mistake.

Print jobs are expensive to redo, so a realistic preview before the order goes out is cheap insurance. If you’re building a full identity, pair it with an envelope or letterhead mockup for a matching set.

Credit goes to Mockups Design. We link to their download page rather than re-uploading the file, so check their terms there before commercial use.

What’s inside the Marble Business Card Mockup PSD

Open it in Photoshop and you can change:

  • Your design, placed through the smart object
  • Paper or background colour
  • Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown

How to use the Marble Business Card Mockup

  1. Get your artwork ready at print size, with 1/8 inch of bleed if it runs to the edge.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
  4. Change the background or paper colour with the colour layer.
  5. Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.

One more thing: show the back of the card with just the logo; it makes the front look calmer.

Questions about this mockup

What licence does it come with?

It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Mockups Design. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.

How do I put my artwork on the business card?

Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.

Do I need Photoshop?

Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.

Will my artwork look printed or pasted on?

Most print mockups keep the paper texture and lighting on separate layers above your design, so it takes on the grain and shadows. If it still looks too clean, lower the opacity of your artwork a little.
