This longline t-shirt mockup is a quick way to show a slogan without a photo shoot.

Good pick for print-on-demand shops, merch sellers or anyone putting together a portfolio. One thing worth knowing: place the design as a flat PNG with a transparent background, then let the fabric displacement do the folds.

Print-on-demand shops use images like this for listings, so the realism of the folds matters more than people think. Shops often pair it with a cap or tote bag mockup to show a small merch collection.

Good for

  • A slogan
  • A small chest logo
  • A band merch print

Michaelhoss created this one and hosts the download on their own site, so you always get the latest version straight from the source.

Longline T-Shirt Mockup: editable parts

Everything below is on its own layer:

  • Print design, placed through the smart object
  • Shadows and highlights
  • Fabric colour
  • Background colour

How to use the Longline T-Shirt Mockup

  1. Prepare the graphic flat, without shadows or fake texture. The mockup adds those.
  2. Open the file in Photoshop and double-click the smart object thumbnail in the Layers panel.
  3. Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
  4. Lower the print opacity a touch if it looks too sharp on the folds.
  5. Save a JPG for clients and social media, and keep the PSD for later changes.

One more thing: keep chest prints around a third of the shirt width. Oversized art looks unrealistic on a folded or worn garment.

  • Share a small chest logo on Instagram, Behance or Dribbble with a real-looking preview.
  • Present a band merch print in a client proposal or brand guide.
  • Show a back print on your online shop or product page.

Questions about this mockup

Is it free for commercial use?

That depends on the author's terms. The download page lists what is allowed; when in doubt, ask the author directly.

How do I put my artwork on the T-shirt?

Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.

Do I need Photoshop?

Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.

Does the print follow the fabric folds?

Better apparel mockups use a displacement map or warp so the print follows the wrinkles. Check the preview: if the folds show through the logo, it does.
