A chips bag design looks better on a chips bag mockup than on a white artboard, and this mockup is set up for exactly that.
Good pick for students in packaging courses, packaging designers or anyone putting together a portfolio. Tip: render two colour versions side by side. Clients choose faster when they compare.
It’s also handy for crowdfunding pages and pitch decks, when the product exists but the packaging hasn’t been printed yet.
Use it for
- A chips bag design
- A snack brand
- A gum or cookie pack
Dribbble Graphics created this one and hosts the download on their own site, so you always get the latest version straight from the source.
What’s inside the Chips Bag Mockup PSD
Open it in Photoshop and you can change:
- Label or box artwork, placed through the smart object
- Shadows
- Base colour of the pack
How to use the Chips Bag Mockup
- Export each side of the pack as its own image if the file has separate smart objects.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
- Save a JPG for clients and social media, and keep the PSD for later changes.
One more thing: build the label or dieline flat first, then place it; bending text inside the mockup is harder to fix later.

Questions about this mockup
Can I use this snack pack mockup for client work?
Dribbble Graphics sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Can I change the packaging colour?
Usually yes. There is normally a colour layer under the design smart object, so you can change the base colour without touching your artwork.
