Classic Umbrella Mockup

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author Mockups Design

Here’s a classic umbrella mockup that works well for a small logo, merch branding and similar projects.

Useful for Etsy sellers as much as for merch brands. Change the background colour to your brand palette; it does more for the final image than people expect.

It’s a nice extra slide in a branding presentation, after the logo and the main applications. Group it with other merch mockups for a branded items slide.

Good for

  • A small logo
  • Merch branding
  • A pattern

Mockups Design created this one and hosts the download on their own site, so you always get the latest version straight from the source.

What’s inside the Classic Umbrella Mockup PSD

Everything below is on its own layer:

  • Logo or artwork, placed through the smart object
  • Background colour
  • Shadows
  • Object colour, where included

How to use the Classic Umbrella Mockup

  1. Prepare the artwork in your brand colours.
  2. Open the file in Photoshop and double-click the smart object thumbnail in the Layers panel.
  3. Paste your design, resize it to fill the area, then save (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close that tab.
  4. Adjust the shadow so the object sits on the surface.
  5. Save a JPG for clients and social media, and keep the PSD for later changes.

Another tip: keep your artwork simple. Small objects shrink details quickly, so a bold mark reads better than fine lines.
