Coffee Set Mockup

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author Free PSD Templates

Show a coffee cup logo the way it will actually look: on a coffee mockup. The multiple views are handy when you need a hero image and a detail shot from the same set.

Useful for food packaging designers as much as for coffee brands. A logo that works on a business card usually works on a cup. Long slogans rarely do.

Cafés and coffee brands use renders like this for menus, social posts and supplier pitches. Pair it with a coffee bag or menu mockup for a complete café presentation.

Free PSD Templates created this one and hosts the download on their own site, so you always get the latest version straight from the source.

What’s inside the Coffee Set Mockup PSD

Everything below is on its own layer:

  • Logo or pattern, placed through the smart object
  • Highlights on the curve
  • Cup, lid or sleeve colour
  • Background colour

How to use the Coffee Set Mockup

  1. Prepare the logo or pattern as a PNG with a transparent background.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
  4. Swap the background colour.
  5. Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.

One more thing: cups are curved, so keep the logo compact and centred on the visible side.

Where the Coffee Set Mockup works best

  • Use it as the cover image for a takeaway cup print in your portfolio.
  • Make two or three colour versions of a yogurt or dessert cup label and let the client pick.
  • Present a coffee cup logo in a client proposal or brand guide.

Questions about this mockup

Can I use this cup mockup for client work?

It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Free PSD Templates. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.

How do I add my design?

Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.

Which Photoshop version do I need?

A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.

Can I change the cup colour?

Most cup and mug mockups keep the body colour on its own layer, so you can change it without touching your design.
