Presenting a wedding envelope? Put it on this DL envelope mockup and the client sees the real thing, not a flat file.
It’s a handy file for small businesses and wedding designers. If the paper has texture, drop the opacity of your art by a few percent so the grain shows through.
Seeing a layout on a real envelope is also the easiest way to catch problems early. A phone number that looked fine on screen can turn out too small once it sits on paper. For a complete brand board, show it next to a business card and a notebook.
Use it for
- A wedding envelope
- A return address and logo
- A branded mailer
Credit goes to Pixpine. We link to their download page rather than re-uploading the file, so check their terms there before commercial use.
What you can edit in this DL Envelope Mockup
Everything below is on its own layer:
- Your design, placed through the smart object
- Paper or background colour
- Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown
Add your design to the DL Envelope Mockup
- Set up the design flat at the real print size and keep text inside a safe margin.
- Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
- Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
- Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.
Use CMYK-friendly colours in the artwork itself, even though the mockup is RGB, so what the client sees is close to print.
Where the DL Envelope Mockup works best
- Make two or three colour versions of a wedding envelope and let the client pick.
- Show a return address and logo on your online shop or product page.
- Share a branded mailer on Instagram, Behance or Dribbble with a real-looking preview.
Before you download
- Made by Pixpine. The download size and format are listed on their page.
- Check the smart object size before you design, so your artwork fits without stretching.
- Some free mockups ask for credit when you post them. A short line in your caption is enough.
- The preview shows the angle, background and lighting you’ll get.
Need a different angle? The envelope mockups category has plenty more free PSD files.
Questions about this mockup
What licence does it come with?
It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Pixpine. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
Do I need Photoshop?
Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.
Can I show both sides?
It depends on the file. Many print mockups include a front and a back smart object; the preview usually shows whether both sides are visible.
