A fabric sack bag mockup, made for presenting a shopping bag design. Drop in your artwork and the lighting and shadows stay as they are. Because it’s fabric, the material shows through a little, which keeps the result believable.

It’s a handy file for retail brands and merch sellers. Tip: check barcodes, weights and small legal text at 100% zoom. Packaging clients always look for those.

A realistic render saves a round of physical samples, which for packaging can take weeks. A matching label or sticker mockup rounds out the set.

Credit goes to Pixpine. We link to their download page rather than re-uploading the file, so check their terms there before commercial use.

Editable options in the Fabric Sack Bag Mockup PSD

Open it in Photoshop and you can change:

  • Label or box artwork, placed through the smart object
  • Background colour
  • Shadows
  • Base colour of the pack

Add your design to the Fabric Sack Bag Mockup

  1. Build the label or box art flat, panel by panel.
  2. In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
  3. Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
  4. Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.

Another tip: glossy packaging picks up highlights over your art; reduce the highlight layer if your logo gets washed out.

Questions about this mockup

Is it free for commercial use?

Pixpine sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.

How do I put my artwork on the bag?

Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.

Which Photoshop version do I need?

A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.

Can I change the packaging colour?

Usually yes. There is normally a colour layer under the design smart object, so you can change the base colour without touching your artwork.
