About Orchide
Orchide is a brush font by Almarkha Type, released in 2026. The designer describes it as a handwritten brush. Expect an elegant touch.
It works well for party invitations, packaging and labels and wedding invitations. For body text next to it, a quiet font such as Barlow Condensed keeps the layout easy to read. Bold brush lettering prints well on T-shirts and posters because the strokes stay visible from a distance.
The zip contains 2 font files (Orchide-Regular.otf, Orchide-Regular.ttf), covering uppercase, lowercase and numbers.
This free version is for personal use. If you plan to earn money with it (client work, merch, packaging), get the commercial licence from Almarkha Type.
Using Orchide on your computer
- Download the zip and unzip it.
- On Windows, double-click the font file and press Install.
- Mac: double-click the file and click Install Font in Font Book.
- Restart Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva desktop so the font shows up.
