About The Dear
The Dear by Almarkha Type is a script font with a vintage feel. The designer describes it as a signature classic.
It works well for party invitations, packaging and labels and wedding invitations. For body text next to it, a quiet font such as Montserrat keeps the layout easy to read. Avoid setting script fonts in all caps. Capitals rarely connect and the word gets hard to read.
The zip contains 4 font files (TheDear-Regular.otf, TheDear-Regular.ttf, TheDear-Italic.otf…), covering uppercase, lowercase and numbers.
Licence: Personal Use Only. The free download is for personal projects only. For logos, client work, products or ads, buy a commercial licence from Almarkha Type.
