Presenting a new logo? Put it on this gold pressed logo mockup and the client sees the real thing, not a flat file. Because it’s gold, the material shows through a little, which keeps the result believable.
It’s a handy file for branding studios and logo designers. Tip: export your artwork at the size the smart object asks for; scaling a small file up is the usual reason print mockups look soft.
A logo on its own is hard to judge; seeing it pressed, printed or lit on a real surface tells the client far more. For a complete brand board, show it next to a business card and a notebook.
The file is made by Pixelbuddha. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.

Everything below is on its own layer:
- Your design, placed through the smart object
- Paper texture you can turn up or down
- Shadows and highlights on their own layers
How to use the Gold Pressed Logo Mockup
- Set up the design flat at the real print size and keep text inside a safe margin.
- Open the file in Photoshop and double-click the smart object thumbnail in the Layers panel.
- Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
- Change the background or paper colour with the colour layer.
- Save a JPG for clients and social media, and keep the PSD for later changes.
One more thing: dark designs often look flat on paper mockups. Turning the highlight layer up slightly brings back the sheen.

Questions about this mockup
Is it free for commercial use?
It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Pixelbuddha. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Does the effect work with any logo?
Effects like foil, emboss or 3D are applied through layer styles, so any logo placed in the smart object gets them. Thin lines and tiny text may lose detail, so test a simplified version too.
