Gold Pressed Logo Mockup
What's inside

A new logo looks better on a gold pressed logo mockup than on a white artboard, and this mockup is set up for exactly that. Because it’s gold, the material shows through a little, which keeps the result believable.
Useful for logo designers as much as for freelancers on Behance. Use CMYK-friendly colours in the artwork itself, even though the mockup is RGB, so what the client sees is close to print.
A logo on its own is hard to judge; seeing it pressed, printed or lit on a real surface tells the client far more. For a complete brand board, show it next to a business card and a notebook.
Good for
- A new logo
- A signage concept
- A brand mark reveal
Pixelbuddha created this one and hosts the download on their own site, so you always get the latest version straight from the source.
What’s inside the Gold Pressed Logo Mockup PSD
Everything below is on its own layer:
- Your design, placed through the smart object
- Paper or background colour
- Paper texture you can turn up or down
- Shadows and highlights on their own layers
How to edit this Gold Pressed Logo Mockup in Photoshop
- Export your artwork as a high-resolution PNG or JPG, around 300 ppi at print size.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
- Tweak the shadow and highlight layers to suit your colours.
- Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.
One more thing: if the paper has texture, drop the opacity of your art by a few percent so the grain shows through.

Questions about this mockup
Can I use this logo mockup for client work?
It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Pixelbuddha. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
Do I need Photoshop?
Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.
Will my artwork look printed or pasted on?
Most print mockups keep the paper texture and lighting on separate layers above your design, so it takes on the grain and shadows. If it still looks too clean, lower the opacity of your artwork a little.
