A holiday greeting frame mockup, made for presenting a quote print. Drop in your artwork and the lighting and shadows stay as they are.
Artists and Etsy print sellers tend to get the most out of files like this. A small tip: keep the glass reflection layer on. It is small, but it’s what makes the frame look real.
Print sellers on Etsy and similar shops use images like this as the main listing photo, because buyers want to see the piece on a wall.
Good for
- A quote print
- A certificate
- A photo

Holiday Greeting Frame Mockup: editable parts
The PSD is layered, so you can change:
- Artwork, placed through the smart object
- Shadows on the wall
- Glass reflection layer
Editing the Holiday Greeting Frame Mockup, step by step
- Choose artwork with the same ratio as the frame (often 2:3, 3:4, 4:5 or an A-size).
- Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
- Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
- Keep the glass reflection on for a real look.
- Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.
Worth remembering: muted artwork tends to look better in bright room scenes, while bold colours suit plain walls.

Questions about this mockup
What licence does it come with?
It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Pixpine. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Can I change the frame colour?
Many frame mockups include black, white and wood options or a colour layer for the frame itself. The preview usually shows the options.
