Need to show a web app to a client? This MacBook Pro mockup does the job in a few minutes.
It’s a handy file for agencies and developers. Tip: screenshots with a white background can blend into the bezel; a thin shadow or darker UI reads better.
It’s also a quick way to make case study images look consistent: same device, same angle, different screens. For a fuller case study, combine it with a laptop or tablet mockup showing the desktop version.
Good for
- A web app
- A portfolio case study
- A SaaS dashboard
Oxygenna created this one and hosts the download on their own site, so you always get the latest version straight from the source.
What you can edit in this Photorealistic Macbook Pro Mockup
The PSD is layered, so you can change:
- Screen design, placed through the smart object
- Shadow under the device
- Screen glare and reflection layers
- Background colour
How to use the Photorealistic Macbook Pro Mockup
- Export your screen design as a PNG at the exact size of the screen smart object.
- Open the file in Photoshop and double-click the smart object thumbnail in the Layers panel.
- Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
- Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.
Another tip: turn the screen glare layer down if your UI has small type. Glare looks nice but hides detail.

Questions about this mockup
Can I use this MacBook mockup for client work?
Oxygenna sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Can I remove the screen reflection?
Usually yes. Reflections and glare are normally a separate layer that you can hide or lower in opacity.
