Show a gift box design the way it will actually look: on a pizza box mockup.

It’s a handy file for e-commerce brands and subscription box companies. Render two colour versions side by side. Clients choose faster when they compare.

It’s also handy for crowdfunding pages and pitch decks, when the product exists but the packaging hasn’t been printed yet.

Good for

  • A gift box design
  • Product packaging
  • A mailer box

This is a free file from Vectogravic. When you click download you’ll land on their page to grab it.

What you can edit in this Pizza Box Mockups

Everything below is on its own layer:

  • Label or box artwork, placed through the smart object
  • Shadows
  • Base colour of the pack

Add your design to the Pizza Box Mockups

  1. Build the label or box art flat, panel by panel.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
  4. Check each visible side so the panels line up.
  5. Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.

Worth remembering: build the label or dieline flat first, then place it; bending text inside the mockup is harder to fix later.

Questions about this mockup

Is it free for commercial use?

It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Vectogravic. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.

How do I add my design?

Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.

Which Photoshop version do I need?

A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.

Is the design wrapped around the shape?

Round packs usually use warp or displacement so the label bends with the shape. Flat boxes use separate smart objects for each visible side.
