Protein Supplement Mockup

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author Behance

This protein supplement mockup is one of the simpler ways to present a dropper bottle label or a skincare label convincingly.

It’s a handy file for packaging designers and skincare brands. A small tip: metallic and glossy finishes look best with a little contrast in the label; very flat pastel labels can look printed on paper.

It’s also a good way to compare a few label directions side by side without printing anything. A shelf of two or three variants in different colours makes a strong hero image.

Good for

  • A dropper bottle label
  • A skincare label
  • A tube design

Protein Supplement Mockup: editable parts

The PSD is layered, so you can change:

  • Label artwork, placed through the smart object
  • Container colour
  • Shadows

How to use the Protein Supplement Mockup

  1. Export the label at the size of the smart object.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
  4. Change the background to your brand colour.
  5. Save a JPG for clients and social media, and keep the PSD for later changes.

One more thing: labels on curved surfaces compress at the sides, so keep key text in the middle third.

Where the Protein Supplement Mockup works best

  • Share a tube design on Instagram, Behance or Dribbble with a real-looking preview.
  • Present a skincare label in a client proposal or brand guide.
  • Make two or three colour versions of a dropper bottle label and let the client pick.

Questions about this mockup

Is it free for commercial use?

A designer on Behance sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.

How do I put my artwork on the cosmetic packaging?

Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.

Do I need Photoshop?

Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.

Can I change the liquid or container colour?

Most bottle, can and cup mockups keep the container colour on its own layer. Liquid colour, where visible, is usually adjustable too.

Why does the download open another website?

We list free files from designers around the web and link to the original page, so a designer on Behance gets the visit and you get the file exactly as they published it.
