A shopping bag mockup, made for presenting a paper bag logo. Drop in your artwork and the lighting and shadows stay as they are.
Retail brands and boutiques tend to get the most out of files like this. One thing worth knowing: glossy packaging picks up highlights over your art; reduce the highlight layer if your logo gets washed out.
It’s also handy for crowdfunding pages and pitch decks, when the product exists but the packaging hasn’t been printed yet. A matching label or sticker mockup rounds out the set.
Credit goes to Mr.Mockup. We link to their download page rather than re-uploading the file, so check their terms there before commercial use.
Editable options in the Shopping Bag Mock-up PSD
Main things you can change in Photoshop:
- Label or box artwork, placed through the smart object
- Background colour
- Gloss and highlight layers
Editing the Shopping Bag Mock-up, step by step
- Export each side of the pack as its own image if the file has separate smart objects.
- Open the file in Photoshop and double-click the smart object thumbnail in the Layers panel.
- Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
- Turn the highlight layer down if it washes out your logo.
- Save a JPG for clients and social media, and keep the PSD for later changes.
Another tip: check barcodes, weights and small legal text at 100% zoom. Packaging clients always look for those.

Questions about this mockup
Can I use this bag mockup for client work?
That depends on the author's terms. The download page lists what is allowed; when in doubt, ask the author directly.
How do I put my artwork on the bag?
Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.
Do I need Photoshop?
Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.
Is the design wrapped around the shape?
Round packs usually use warp or displacement so the label bends with the shape. Flat boxes use separate smart objects for each visible side.
