A QR code card looks better on a vertical business card mockup than on a white artboard, and this mockup is set up for exactly that.
Branding studios and freelance designers tend to get the most out of files like this. Quick tip: export your artwork at the size the smart object asks for; scaling a small file up is the usual reason print mockups look soft.
Print jobs are expensive to redo, so a realistic preview before the order goes out is cheap insurance. If you’re building a full identity, pair it with an envelope or letterhead mockup for a matching set.
Good for
- A QR code card
- A minimal logo card
- A front and back card design
Credit goes to Dribbble Graphics. We link to their download page rather than re-uploading the file, so check their terms there before commercial use.
Vertical Business Card Mockup: editable parts
The PSD is layered, so you can change:
- Your design, placed through the smart object
- Paper texture you can turn up or down
- Shadows and highlights on their own layers
How to edit this Vertical Business Card Mockup in Photoshop
- Get your artwork ready at print size, with 3 mm of bleed if it runs to the edge.
- Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
- Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
- Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.
Worth remembering: if the paper has texture, drop the opacity of your art by a few percent so the grain shows through.

Questions about this mockup
Is it free for commercial use?
Dribbble Graphics sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.
How do I put my artwork on the business card?
Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
What size card is this made for?
Most business card mockups use the common 85 × 55 mm or 3.5 × 2 in size. Check the smart object's canvas to be sure before you design.
