If you’re presenting a QR code card, this woodgrain business card mockup makes the idea feel real before anything is produced.
Branding studios and freelance designers tend to get the most out of files like this. Quick tip: show the back of the card with just the logo; it makes the front look calmer.
Seeing a layout on a real business card is also the easiest way to catch problems early. A phone number that looked fine on screen can turn out too small once it sits on paper.
Good for
- A QR code card
- A minimal logo card
- A front and back card design

Editable options in the Woodgrain Business Card Mockup PSD
Everything below is on its own layer:
- Your design, placed through the smart object
- Paper or background colour
- Shadows and highlights on their own layers
- Paper texture you can turn up or down
Editing the Woodgrain Business Card Mockup, step by step
- Export your artwork as a high-resolution PNG or JPG, around 300 ppi at print size.
- Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
- Paste your design, resize it to fill the area, then save (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close that tab.
- Turn the texture layer up or down to match the paper you’ll print on.
- Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.
One more thing: use CMYK-friendly colours in the artwork itself, even though the mockup is RGB, so what the client sees is close to print.

- Make two or three colour versions of a QR code card and let the client pick.

Questions about this mockup
Can I use this business card mockup for client work?
Mockups Design sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.
How do I put my artwork on the business card?
Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Will my artwork look printed or pasted on?
Most print mockups keep the paper texture and lighting on separate layers above your design, so it takes on the grain and shadows. If it still looks too clean, lower the opacity of your artwork a little.
