Rubber Stamp PSD Mockup

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author GraphicBurger

A rubber stamp mockup, made for presenting a seal. Drop in your artwork and the lighting and shadows stay as they are.

It’s a handy file for branding designers and illustrators. One thing worth knowing: use CMYK-friendly colours in the artwork itself, even though the mockup is RGB, so what the client sees is close to print.

Clients sign off faster when they can picture the finished piece, and a flat PDF rarely does that as well as a photo of the stamp.

This is a free file from GraphicBurger. When you click download you’ll land on their page to grab it.

What you can edit in this Rubber Stamp Mockup

Everything below is on its own layer:

  • Your design, placed through the smart object
  • Paper or background colour
  • Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown

Add your design to the Rubber Stamp Mockup

  1. Set up the design flat at the real print size and keep text inside a safe margin.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Paste your design, resize it to fill the area, then save (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close that tab.
  4. Turn the texture layer up or down to match the paper you’ll print on.
  5. Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.

Another tip: export your artwork at the size the smart object asks for; scaling a small file up is the usual reason print mockups look soft.

Questions about this mockup

Can I use this stamp mockup for client work?

That depends on the author's terms. The download page lists what is allowed; when in doubt, ask the author directly.

How do I put my artwork on the stamp?

Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.

Do I need Photoshop?

Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.

Can I show both sides?

It depends on the file. Many print mockups include a front and a back smart object; the preview usually shows whether both sides are visible.
