A packaging tape box mockup, made for presenting branded packing tape. Drop in your artwork and the lighting and shadows stay as they are.

It’s a handy file for stationery designers and e-commerce brands. Tip: change the background colour to your brand palette; it does more for the final image than people expect.

It’s a nice extra slide in a branding presentation, after the logo and the main applications.

The file is made by Creatoom. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.

What’s inside the Packaging Tape Box Mockup PSD

Everything below is on its own layer:

  • Logo or artwork, placed through the smart object
  • Object colour, where included
  • Background colour

Add your design to the Packaging Tape Box Mockup

  1. Simplify the design a little; fine details get lost on small objects.
  2. In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
  3. Paste your design, resize it to fill the area, then save (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close that tab.
  4. Try the logo in one colour and full colour.
  5. Save a JPG for clients and social media, and keep the PSD for later changes.

One more thing: use a PNG with transparency for logos so the material around them keeps its texture.
