Front View Cap Mockup
What's inside
- Applications Photoshop
- File Types PSD
- License Free (see author's terms)
- Author Pixelbuddha
A front view cap mockup, made for presenting an embroidered logo. Drop in your artwork and the lighting and shadows stay as they are.
It’s a handy file for streetwear labels and sports teams. A small tip: caps show logos small and curved; a simplified version of the mark reads much better than the full logo.
It’s also useful before a print run, to check how large the design should really be on the garment.
Good for
- An embroidered logo
- A side mark
- A small patch design
The file is made by Pixelbuddha. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.
Front View Cap Mockup: editable parts
The PSD is layered, so you can change:
- Print design, placed through the smart object
- Fabric colour
- Shadows and highlights
How to edit this Front View Cap Mockup in Photoshop
- Prepare the graphic flat, without shadows or fake texture. The mockup adds those.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
- Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.
Worth remembering: if the print looks too sharp, a very slight blur (0.3 px) makes it sit into the fabric.
Best uses for this Front View Cap Mockup

Quick notes on this mockup
- Made by Pixelbuddha. The download size and format are listed on their page.
- Some free mockups ask for credit when you post them. A short line in your caption is enough.
- Built for Adobe Photoshop. A recent CC version handles the smart objects best.

Questions about this mockup
What licence does it come with?
It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Pixelbuddha. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.

A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
