Presenting a sample sachet? Put it on this matt sachet mockup and the client sees the real thing, not a flat file.
Good pick for packaging designers, food brands or anyone putting together a portfolio. Quick tip: glossy packaging picks up highlights over your art; reduce the highlight layer if your logo gets washed out.
A realistic render saves a round of physical samples, which for packaging can take weeks.
Use it for
- A sample sachet
- A cosmetic sample
- A sugar or sauce packet
The file is made by Pixpine. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.

- Finish the label first, with barcode and small print in place.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Paste your design, resize it to fill the area, then save (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close that tab.
- Turn the highlight layer down if it washes out your logo.

Questions about this mockup
Is it free for commercial use?
Pixpine sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Can I change the packaging colour?
Usually yes. There is normally a colour layer under the design smart object, so you can change the base colour without touching your artwork.
