Need to show a full brand identity to a client? This car branding mockup does the job in a few minutes.
Good pick for branding studios, freelance designers or anyone putting together a portfolio. Tip: use the same margins on every item in the set; it’s the detail that makes an identity look designed rather than assembled.
Clients sign off faster when they can picture the finished piece, and a flat PDF rarely does that as well as a photo of the stationery set.
The file is made by Psdfreebies. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.
What you can edit in this Car Branding Mockup
Open it in Photoshop and you can change:
- Your design, placed through the smart object
- Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown
- Paper texture you can turn up or down
- Shadows and highlights on their own layers
How to use the Car Branding Mockup
- Get your artwork ready at print size, with 3 mm of bleed if it runs to the edge.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
- Tweak the shadow and highlight layers to suit your colours.
- Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.
Export your artwork at the size the smart object asks for; scaling a small file up is the usual reason print mockups look soft.
Ways to use this Car Branding Mockup

Questions about this mockup
What licence does it come with?
It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Psdfreebies. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.
How do I add my design?
Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Will my artwork look printed or pasted on?
Most print mockups keep the paper texture and lighting on separate layers above your design, so it takes on the grain and shadows. If it still looks too clean, lower the opacity of your artwork a little.
