Double Calendar Mockup

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author Graphictwister

Presenting a yearly calendar? Put it on this double calendar mockup and the client sees the real thing, not a flat file.

Good pick for photographers, corporate designers or anyone putting together a portfolio. Tip: if the paper has texture, drop the opacity of your art by a few percent so the grain shows through.

Clients sign off faster when they can picture the finished piece, and a flat PDF rarely does that as well as a photo of the calendar. For a complete brand board, show it next to a business card and a notebook.

Works well for

  • A yearly calendar
  • A corporate gift calendar
  • A desk calendar

Credit goes to Graphictwister. We link to their download page rather than re-uploading the file, so check their terms there before commercial use.

Editable options in the Double Calendar Mockup PSD

Main things you can change in Photoshop:

  • Your design, placed through the smart object
  • Paper texture you can turn up or down
  • Shadows and highlights on their own layers
  • Paper or background colour

Add your design to the Double Calendar Mockup

  1. Set up the design flat at the real print size and keep text inside a safe margin.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Paste your design, resize it to fill the area, then save (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close that tab.
  4. Change the background or paper colour with the colour layer.
  5. Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.

Dark designs often look flat on paper mockups. Turning the highlight layer up slightly brings back the sheen.

Where the Double Calendar Mockup works best

  • Present a corporate gift calendar in a client proposal or brand guide.
  • Make two or three colour versions of a yearly calendar and let the client pick.
  • Share a desk calendar on Instagram, Behance or Dribbble with a real-looking preview.

Questions about this mockup

Can I use this calendar mockup for client work?

Graphictwister sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.

How do I add my design?

Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.

Do I need Photoshop?

Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.

Will my artwork look printed or pasted on?

Most print mockups keep the paper texture and lighting on separate layers above your design, so it takes on the grain and shadows. If it still looks too clean, lower the opacity of your artwork a little.
