Flyers Mockup

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author Behance

An event flyer looks better on a flyers mockup than on a white artboard, and this mockup is set up for exactly that.

Good pick for print designers, small businesses or anyone putting together a portfolio. Tip: use CMYK-friendly colours in the artwork itself, even though the mockup is RGB, so what the client sees is close to print.

Print jobs are expensive to redo, so a realistic preview before the order goes out is cheap insurance.

Works well for

  • An event flyer
  • A club night poster
  • A promo leaflet

The file is made by a designer on Behance. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.

What’s inside the Flyers Mockup PSD

The PSD is layered, so you can change:

  • Your design, placed through the smart object
  • Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown
  • Paper texture you can turn up or down
  • Shadows and highlights on their own layers

How to edit this Flyers Mockup in Photoshop

  1. Set up the design flat at the real print size and keep text inside a safe margin.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
  4. Change the background or paper colour with the colour layer.
  5. Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.

Export your artwork at the size the smart object asks for; scaling a small file up is the usual reason print mockups look soft.

Ways to use this Flyers Mockup

  • Show a restaurant offer to a client before it goes to print or production.
  • Share an event flyer on Instagram, Behance or Dribbble with a real-looking preview.
  • Show a club night poster on your online shop or product page.

Good to know

  • Made by a designer on Behance. The download size and format are listed on their page.
  • Some free mockups ask for credit when you post them. A short line in your caption is enough.
  • Built for Adobe Photoshop. A recent CC version handles the smart objects best.
  • The preview shows the angle, background and lighting you’ll get.

Need a different angle? The flyer mockups category has plenty more free PSD files.

Questions about this mockup

What licence does it come with?

That depends on the author's terms. The download page lists what is allowed; when in doubt, ask the author directly.

How do I add my design?

Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.

Which Photoshop version do I need?

A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.

Can I show both sides?

It depends on the file. Many print mockups include a front and a back smart object; the preview usually shows whether both sides are visible.

Why does the download open another website?

We list free files from designers around the web and link to the original page, so a designer on Behance gets the visit and you get the file exactly as they published it.
