Presenting a price tag? Put it on this label mockup and the client sees the real thing, not a flat file.
Good pick for packaging designers, fashion brands or anyone putting together a portfolio. Quick tip: dark designs often look flat on paper mockups. Turning the highlight layer up slightly brings back the sheen.
Clients sign off faster when they can picture the finished piece, and a flat PDF rarely does that as well as a photo of the label or tag.
The file is made by a designer on Dribbble. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.
Editable options in the Label Mockup PSD
The PSD is layered, so you can change:
- Your design, placed through the smart object
- Paper texture you can turn up or down
- Paper or background colour
Editing the Label Mockup, step by step
- Export your artwork as a high-resolution PNG or JPG, around 300 ppi at print size.
- Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
- Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
- Change the background or paper colour with the colour layer.
- Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.
Use CMYK-friendly colours in the artwork itself, even though the mockup is RGB, so what the client sees is close to print.

Questions about this mockup
Is it free for commercial use?
That depends on the author's terms. The download page lists what is allowed; when in doubt, ask the author directly.
How do I put my artwork on the label or tag?
Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Will my artwork look printed or pasted on?
Most print mockups keep the paper texture and lighting on separate layers above your design, so it takes on the grain and shadows. If it still looks too clean, lower the opacity of your artwork a little.
Why does the download open another website?
We list free files from designers around the web and link to the original page, so a designer on Dribbble gets the visit and you get the file exactly as they published it.
