Leather Wallet Mockup

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author Alien Valley

A leather wallet mockup, made for presenting a pattern. Drop in your artwork and the lighting and shadows stay as they are. The leather surface is the main character here, so designs with some contrast stand out best.

Useful for Etsy sellers as much as for merch brands. Quick tip: keep your artwork simple. Small objects shrink details quickly, so a bold mark reads better than fine lines.

Small branded items are often the part of an identity that clients remember, so it’s worth showing them properly.

The file is made by Alien Valley. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.

What you can edit in this Leather Wallet Mockup

Main things you can change in Photoshop:

  • Logo or artwork, placed through the smart object
  • Background colour
  • Object colour, where included
  • Shadows

Add your design to the Leather Wallet Mockup

  1. Export your logo or artwork as a PNG with transparency.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
  4. Adjust the shadow so the object sits on the surface.
  5. Save a JPG for clients and social media, and keep the PSD for later changes.

Worth remembering: use a PNG with transparency for logos so the material around them keeps its texture.

Where the Leather Wallet Mockup works best

  • Show a small logo on your online shop or product page.
  • Make two or three colour versions of merch branding and let the client pick.

Before you download

  • Check the smart object size before you design, so your artwork fits without stretching.
