Mug Mock-up

Show a company logo the way it will actually look: on a mug mockup.
It’s a handy file for corporate merch teams and print-on-demand sellers. Quick tip: mug prints wrap around; if the preview shows one side, keep the design centred on that side.
It’s the quickest way to check whether a logo still works when it’s small and curved. Pair it with a coffee bag or menu mockup for a complete café presentation.
Credit goes to Country4k. We link to their download page rather than re-uploading the file, so check their terms there before commercial use.
Editable options in the Mug Mock-up PSD
Everything below is on its own layer:
- Logo or pattern, placed through the smart object
- Background colour
- Cup, lid or sleeve colour
- Highlights on the curve
Add your design to the Mug Mock-up
- Prepare the logo or pattern as a PNG with a transparent background.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
- Nudge the logo to the centre of the curve.
- Save a JPG for clients and social media, and keep the PSD for later changes.
One more thing: if the file lets you change the lid or sleeve colour, match it to your brand; it pulls the image together.

Questions about this mockup
What licence does it come with?
Country4k sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.
How do I put my artwork on the mug?
Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.
Do I need Photoshop?
Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.
Can I change the cup colour?
Most cup and mug mockups keep the body colour on its own layer, so you can change it without touching your design.
