Podium Cosmetic Tube Mockup

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author Mockups Design

If you’re presenting a tube design, this podium cosmetic tube mockup makes the idea feel real before anything is produced.

It’s a handy file for packaging designers and skincare brands. Metallic and glossy finishes look best with a little contrast in the label; very flat pastel labels can look printed on paper.

Beverage and beauty brands use renders like this on their shop pages long before the first production batch.

Use it for

  • A tube design
  • A skincare label
  • A dropper bottle label

The file is made by Mockups Design. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.

Podium Cosmetic Tube Mockup: editable parts

Everything below is on its own layer:

  • Label artwork, placed through the smart object
  • Background colour
  • Highlights and reflections
  • Shadows

Editing the Podium Cosmetic Tube Mockup, step by step

  1. Prepare the label with a little space around the edges for the highlights.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Paste your design, resize it to fill the area, then save (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close that tab.
  4. Change the background to your brand colour.
  5. Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.

One more thing: leave a little breathing room around the label edge so the highlight strip does not cut through your logo.

Where the Podium Cosmetic Tube Mockup works best

  • Present a tube design in a client proposal or brand guide.
  • Make two or three colour versions of a dropper bottle label and let the client pick.
  • Share a skincare label on Instagram, Behance or Dribbble with a real-looking preview.

Before you download

  • Made by Mockups Design. The download size and format are listed on their page.
  • Some free mockups ask for credit when you post them. A short line in your caption is enough.
  • Check the smart object size before you design, so your artwork fits without stretching.
  • Check the licence on the author’s page. Personal and commercial terms differ from file to file.

Questions about this mockup

Is it free for commercial use?

It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Mockups Design. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.

How do I add my design?

Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.

Which Photoshop version do I need?

A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.

Will the label bend with the shape?

Good curved-product mockups use a warp so the label wraps around. The preview shows it: if the edges of the label curve away, it does.
