Product Branding Boxes Mockup
What's inside

- File Types PSD

- Author Pixeden
A product branding boxes mockup, made for presenting product packaging. Drop in your artwork and the lighting and shadows stay as they are.
Useful for packaging designers as much as for e-commerce brands. A small tip: build the label or dieline flat first, then place it; bending text inside the mockup is harder to fix later.
It’s also handy for crowdfunding pages and pitch decks, when the product exists but the packaging hasn’t been printed yet. A matching label or sticker mockup rounds out the set.
The file is made by Pixeden. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.
What you can edit in this Product Branding Boxes Mockup
The PSD is layered, so you can change:
- Label or box artwork, placed through the smart object
- Shadows
- Base colour of the pack
Editing the Product Branding Boxes Mockup, step by step
- Export each side of the pack as its own image if the file has separate smart objects.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
- Turn the highlight layer down if it washes out your logo.
- Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.
One more thing: check barcodes, weights and small legal text at 100% zoom. Packaging clients always look for those.
Ways to use this Product Branding Boxes Mockup
- Present a gift box design in a client proposal or brand guide.
- Show a mailer box to a client before it goes to print or production.
- Make two or three colour versions of product packaging and let the client pick.
Quick notes on this mockup
- Made by Pixeden. The download size and format are listed on their page.
- Built for Adobe Photoshop. A recent CC version handles the smart objects best.
- Check the licence on the author’s page. Personal and commercial terms differ from file to file.
- Some free mockups ask for credit when you post them. A short line in your caption is enough.

Questions about this mockup
What licence does it come with?
Pixeden sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.
How do I put my artwork on the box?
Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Can I change the packaging colour?
Usually yes. There is normally a colour layer under the design smart object, so you can change the base colour without touching your artwork.
Why does the download open another website?
We list free files from designers around the web and link to the original page, so Pixeden gets the visit and you get the file exactly as they published it.
