Here’s a three plates mockup that works well for a decorative print, a restaurant logo and similar projects.
Useful for restaurants as much as for homeware brands. Change the background colour to your brand palette; it does more for the final image than people expect.
Small branded items are often the part of an identity that clients remember, so it’s worth showing them properly. Group it with other merch mockups for a branded items slide.
Use it for
- A decorative print
- A restaurant logo
- A ceramic pattern

What you can edit in this Three Plates mockup
Open it in Photoshop and you can change:
- Logo or artwork, placed through the smart object
- Shadows
- Object colour, where included
How to use the Three Plates mockup
- Prepare the artwork in your brand colours.
- In the Layers panel, find the layer with the small smart object icon and double-click it.
- Paste your design, resize it to fill the area, then save (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close that tab.
- Change the background colour at the bottom of the layer stack.
- Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.
Another tip: keep your artwork simple. Small objects shrink details quickly, so a bold mark reads better than fine lines.
Where the Three Plates mockup works best

What licence does it come with?
GraphicPear sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.
How do I put my artwork on the plate?
Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.
Do I need Photoshop?
Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.
Can I change the background?
Most object mockups have a background colour or image layer at the bottom of the stack that you can swap.
