Bed Linen Mockup

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author Pixelbuddha

If you’re presenting a surface design, this bed linen mockup makes the idea feel real before anything is produced. Because it’s linen, the material shows through a little, which keeps the result believable.

Useful for surface pattern designers as much as for textile designers. A small tip: light prints on light fabric vanish; try the garment colour layer first before you change your artwork.

It’s also useful before a print run, to check how large the design should really be on the garment.

What’s inside the Bed Linen Mockup PSD

Main things you can change in Photoshop:

  • Print design, placed through the smart object
  • Folds and wrinkles that wrap your print
  • Background colour
  • Fabric colour

Editing the Bed Linen Mockup, step by step

  1. Save your print as a PNG with a transparent background.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
  4. Lower the print opacity a touch if it looks too sharp on the folds.
  5. Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.

Another tip: keep chest prints around a third of the shirt width. Oversized art looks unrealistic on a folded or worn garment.

Where the Bed Linen Mockup works best

  • Present a printed logo in a client proposal or brand guide.
  • Share a surface design on Instagram, Behance or Dribbble with a real-looking preview.
  • Show a textile pattern to a client before it goes to print or production.

Before you download

  • Made by Pixelbuddha. The download size and format are listed on their page.

Questions about this mockup

What licence does it come with?

Pixelbuddha sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.

How do I put my artwork on the fabric?

Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.

Do I need Photoshop?

Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.

Does the print follow the fabric folds?

Better apparel mockups use a displacement map or warp so the print follows the wrinkles. Check the preview: if the folds show through the logo, it does.
