Table Calendar Mock-up

What's inside

  • Applications Photoshop
  • File Types PSD
  • License Free (see author's terms)
  • Author Zippypixels

Show a desk calendar the way it will actually look: on a table calendar mockup.

Good pick for photographers, corporate designers or anyone putting together a portfolio. Tip: use CMYK-friendly colours in the artwork itself, even though the mockup is RGB, so what the client sees is close to print.

Clients sign off faster when they can picture the finished piece, and a flat PDF rarely does that as well as a photo of the calendar. For a complete brand board, show it next to a business card and a notebook.

Use it for

  • A desk calendar
  • A yearly calendar
  • A corporate gift calendar

Credit goes to Zippypixels. We link to their download page rather than re-uploading the file, so check their terms there before commercial use.

Table Calendar Mock-up: editable parts

The PSD is layered, so you can change:

  • Your design, placed through the smart object
  • Shadows and highlights on their own layers
  • Paper texture you can turn up or down
  • Paper or background colour

How to edit this Table Calendar Mock-up in Photoshop

  1. Set up the design flat at the real print size and keep text inside a safe margin.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
  4. Turn the texture layer up or down to match the paper you’ll print on.
  5. Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.

Another tip: export your artwork at the size the smart object asks for; scaling a small file up is the usual reason print mockups look soft.

Ways to use this Table Calendar Mock-up

  • Share a corporate gift calendar on Instagram, Behance or Dribbble with a real-looking preview.
  • Use it as the cover image for a desk calendar in your portfolio.
  • Make two or three colour versions of a yearly calendar and let the client pick.

Quick notes on this mockup

  • Made by Zippypixels. The download size and format are listed on their page.
  • Check the smart object size before you design, so your artwork fits without stretching.
  • Some free mockups ask for credit when you post them. A short line in your caption is enough.
  • Built for Adobe Photoshop. A recent CC version handles the smart objects best.

Questions about this mockup

What licence does it come with?

That depends on the author's terms. The download page lists what is allowed; when in doubt, ask the author directly.

How do I put my artwork on the calendar?

Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.

Do I need Photoshop?

Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.

Can I show both sides?

It depends on the file. Many print mockups include a front and a back smart object; the preview usually shows whether both sides are visible.
