Here’s a clean branding identity mockup that works well for a full brand identity, letterhead, card and envelope and similar projects.

Useful for freelance designers as much as for branding studios. One thing worth knowing: keep text at least a few millimetres from the edge. The mockup shows the trim, and cramped margins read as a mistake.

Seeing a layout on a real stationery set is also the easiest way to catch problems early. A phone number that looked fine on screen can turn out too small once it sits on paper. If you’re building a full identity, pair it with an envelope or letterhead mockup for a matching set.

Use it for

  • A full brand identity
  • Letterhead, card and envelope
  • A brand guideline cover

GraphicBurger created this one and hosts the download on their own site, so you always get the latest version straight from the source.

What you can edit in this Clean Branding Identity Mockup

Open it in Photoshop and you can change:

  • Your design, placed through the smart object
  • Paper or background colour
  • Shadows and highlights on their own layers
  • Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown

How to use the Clean Branding Identity Mockup

  1. Get your artwork ready at print size, with 3 mm of bleed if it runs to the edge.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
  4. Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.

Worth remembering: if the paper has texture, drop the opacity of your art by a few percent so the grain shows through.

Where the Clean Branding Identity Mockup works best

  • Share a full brand identity on Instagram, Behance or Dribbble with a real-looking preview.
  • Make two or three colour versions of letterhead, card and envelope and let the client pick.
  • Present a brand guideline cover in a client proposal or brand guide.

Quick notes on this mockup

  • Made by GraphicBurger. The download size and format are listed on their page.
  • Check the smart object size before you design, so your artwork fits without stretching.
  • Some free mockups ask for credit when you post them. A short line in your caption is enough.
  • The preview shows the angle, background and lighting you’ll get.

Questions about this mockup

What licence does it come with?

GraphicBurger sets the licence, and it can differ from file to file. Many free files allow personal and commercial use, but some are personal-only or ask for credit. Read the terms on the download page before a paid project.

How do I add my design?

Open the file in Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste or place your artwork in the new tab, save it (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and close. The main file updates on its own.

Do I need Photoshop?

Yes. This is a PSD mockup built with smart objects, so you edit it in Adobe Photoshop. Any recent CC version works.

Will my artwork look printed or pasted on?

Most print mockups keep the paper texture and lighting on separate layers above your design, so it takes on the grain and shadows. If it still looks too clean, lower the opacity of your artwork a little.
