Presenting a planner design? Put it on this perspective notepad mockup and the client sees the real thing, not a flat file.
Good pick for Etsy sellers, stationery brands or anyone putting together a portfolio. Dark designs often look flat on paper mockups. Turning the highlight layer up slightly brings back the sheen.
It also makes a good cover image for a Behance or Dribbble post, where the first thumbnail decides whether anyone clicks. If you’re building a full identity, pair it with an envelope or letterhead mockup for a matching set.
This is a free file from Pixeden. When you click download you’ll land on their page to grab it.
What you can edit in this Perspective Notepad Mockup
The PSD is layered, so you can change:
- Your design, placed through the smart object
- Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown
- Paper or background colour
How to edit this Perspective Notepad Mockup in Photoshop
- Export your artwork as a high-resolution PNG or JPG, around 300 ppi at print size.
- Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
- Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
- Turn the texture layer up or down to match the paper you’ll print on.
- Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.
Another tip: export your artwork at the size the smart object asks for; scaling a small file up is the usual reason print mockups look soft.
Ways to use this Perspective Notepad Mockup

Questions about this mockup
Is it free for commercial use?
It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Pixeden. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.
How do I put my artwork on the notebook?
Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Can I show both sides?
It depends on the file. Many print mockups include a front and a back smart object; the preview usually shows whether both sides are visible.
