Need to show letterhead, card and envelope to a client? This branding identity mockup does the job in a few minutes.
It’s a handy file for design students and freelance designers. One thing worth knowing: use the same margins on every item in the set; it’s the detail that makes an identity look designed rather than assembled.
It also makes a good cover image for a Behance or Dribbble post, where the first thumbnail decides whether anyone clicks. If you’re building a full identity, pair it with an envelope or letterhead mockup for a matching set.
Use it for
- Letterhead, card and envelope
- A full brand identity
- A brand guideline cover
Free PSD Templates created this one and hosts the download on their own site, so you always get the latest version straight from the source.
Editable options in the Branding Identity Mockups PSD
The PSD is layered, so you can change:
- Your design, placed through the smart object
- Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown
- Paper or background colour
Editing the Branding Identity Mockups, step by step
- Set up the design flat at the real print size and keep text inside a safe margin.
- Open the file in Photoshop and double-click the smart object thumbnail in the Layers panel.
- Place your design, hide the sample artwork, save, and go back to the main file.
- Tweak the shadow and highlight layers to suit your colours.
- Export a full-size image for your portfolio and a smaller one for social media.
Use CMYK-friendly colours in the artwork itself, even though the mockup is RGB, so what the client sees is close to print.
Where the Branding Identity Mockups works best
- Present letterhead, card and envelope in a client proposal or brand guide.
- Use it as the cover image for a brand guideline cover in your portfolio.
- Show a full brand identity to a client before it goes to print or production.
Before you download
- Made by Free PSD Templates. The download size and format are listed on their page.
- Built for Adobe Photoshop. A recent CC version handles the smart objects best.
- Some free mockups ask for credit when you post them. A short line in your caption is enough.
- Check the smart object size before you design, so your artwork fits without stretching.

Questions about this mockup
What licence does it come with?
It's free to download, but the licence belongs to Free PSD Templates. Check their page: it states whether commercial use is allowed and if attribution is needed.
How do I put my artwork on the stationery set?
Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.
Which Photoshop version do I need?
A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.
Can I show both sides?
It depends on the file. Many print mockups include a front and a back smart object; the preview usually shows whether both sides are visible.
Why does the download open another website?
We list free files from designers around the web and link to the original page, so Free PSD Templates gets the visit and you get the file exactly as they published it.
