Need to show a brand guideline cover to a client? This warm stationery mockup does the job in a few minutes.

It’s a handy file for branding studios and freelance designers. A small tip: use the same margins on every item in the set; it’s the detail that makes an identity look designed rather than assembled.

Clients sign off faster when they can picture the finished piece, and a flat PDF rarely does that as well as a photo of the stationery set. For a complete brand board, show it next to a business card and a notebook.

Works well for

  • A brand guideline cover
  • Letterhead, card and envelope
  • A full brand identity

The file is made by Mockups Design. The download button takes you to their page, where you get the original file and the licence details.

What’s inside the Warm Stationery Mockup PSD

Main things you can change in Photoshop:

  • Your design, placed through the smart object
  • Front and back artwork, where both sides are shown
  • Paper or background colour
  • Paper texture you can turn up or down

Add your design to the Warm Stationery Mockup

  1. Get your artwork ready at print size, with 1/8 inch of bleed if it runs to the edge.
  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop and find the smart object layer, usually named “Your Design” or “Place Here”.
  3. Drop your artwork in, fit it to the canvas, save and close. The mockup updates by itself.
  4. Change the background or paper colour with the colour layer.
  5. Export with File › Export › Export As: JPG for sharing, PNG for the web.

Worth remembering: if the paper has texture, drop the opacity of your art by a few percent so the grain shows through.

  • Use it as the cover image for letterhead, card and envelope in your portfolio.

Questions about this mockup

Can I use this stationery set mockup for client work?

That depends on the author's terms. The download page lists what is allowed; when in doubt, ask the author directly.

How do I put my artwork on the stationery set?

Find the smart object layer (it has a small icon on its thumbnail), double-click it, place your design, then save and close that tab.

Which Photoshop version do I need?

A recent Photoshop CC version is best. Older versions can open the file but sometimes have trouble with smart objects and effects.

Will my artwork look printed or pasted on?

Most print mockups keep the paper texture and lighting on separate layers above your design, so it takes on the grain and shadows. If it still looks too clean, lower the opacity of your artwork a little.
